The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital plays a key role in helping improve the healthcare services of greater Portage County. The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital is a large group of men and women whose sole purpose is to benefit others. This organization provides diverse opportunities for all who join. Members form lasting relationships, take on leadership responsibility, help plan events and participate in fundraising that makes a difference.

The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital is very important to the hospital and to the people of greater Portage County. We are proud of our many accomplishments and would be pleased to welcome you as a member. What is The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital?
The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital is a legal entity that works in cooperation with the hospital to provide additional patient services. The mission of The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital is to render service to the hospital and its patients; to promote the health and welfare of the community; and to provide funds through special projects for additional patient services in accordance with hospital priorities.

What is expected of members?
Membership in The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital is open to all adults who are interested in Robinson Memorial Hospital, willing to uphold the mission of the organization and willing to pay annual dues. An active member is expected to provide 25 annual volunteer/organization hours. All active members are encouraged to participate actively in fund-raising projects approved by The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital. Members are encouraged to attend regular meetings. Annual dues are determined by the Executive Committee.

How often does The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital meet?
The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital meets the 4th Monday afternoon of the following months: January, February, April, May, June, August, September, October and November.

How are activity funds used?
Funds are used to purchase equipment and services, which enhance patient care provided by Robinson Memorial Hospital. On average, The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital donates $50,000 to $100,000 annually to the hospital for major projects. In 1999, $500,000 was allocated for the new Robinson Memorial Hospital Emergency Department. A major pledge has been made for the renovation of the Cardiovascular Center and to purchase equipment for that area.
