Robinson Memorial’s Hospice sees over 300 patients annually. These patients faced with a terminal illness or life-limiting condition, are cared for in their homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes and at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Hospice treats the person rather than the disease, focusing on quality of life, and offers a multi-disciplinary team of physicians, nurses, social workers, certified home care aides, bereavement social workers and a hospice medical director - working together to address the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of each individual patient, their family and their caregivers.
In 2013, Robinson Visiting Nurse and Hospice provided over $127,000 in charity care
to patients who were either uninsured or underinsured, so they could receive the care they deserved.
