About 60 women from the community attended Robinson Memorial Hospital’s, Robinson Goes Red for Women event, February 7. The event was a free educational program promoting women’s heart health and was in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign to fight heart disease.
The event included lunch and a presentation by Robinson’s Cardiopulmonary Rehab Nurses. The Cardiopulmonary Rehab Nurses spoke about cardiovascular health and focused on exercise, nutrition and how to read store labels to know you are making the best food choices.
Comments from attendees included, "The whole format was presented in an easy to understand and most interesting way." "The program was excellent. I have been to all the programs and this was the BEST.”
