Robinson Memorial Hospital has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2014 Nurses Choice Award for the Organization category by the Ohio Nurses Foundation (ONF).
ONF, the philanthropic arm of the Ohio Nurses Association, exists to provide funding to advance nursing as a learned profession through education, research and scholarship.
The Nurses Choice Award is given in recognition and celebration of organizations that are friends of nursing through support and/or advocating for the betterment of the profession.
“We are very proud to receive this award recognizing Robinson Memorial Hospital as a "nurse-friendly" organization. As a Magnet recognized organization, we understand the importance of providing a work environment where nurses can deliver evidence based care, practice with autonomy and professionalism, and have the opportunity for career growth and life-long learning. Receiving recognition through this 2014 Nurses Choice Award affirms we are doing just that,” stated Linda Breedlove, RN, MBA, NEA-BC, FACHE, Vice President, Patient Care Services and CNO of Robinson Memorial Hospital.
Stephen Colecchi, President and CEO of Robinson Memorial Hospital will accept the award on March 28 at the annual Nurses Choice Awards and Scholarship Luncheon at the Blackwell Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio.
