The Robinson Memorial Hospital Foundation recently received a $1,500 grant from The Portage Foundation in support of Robinson Visiting Nurse and Hospice at Robinson Memorial Hospital.
The grants were provided by the Gerald H. and Victoria C.T. Read Endowment Fund, established by Dr. and Mrs. Charles Read in 1999, and the David Howard Green Memorial Fund, established by Joan Green Spotts in 2002. Both family funds are administered by The Portage Foundation.
Total contributions from The Portage Foundation to Robinson Visiting Nurse and Hospice are more than $32,000.
The mission of The Portage Foundation is to acquire, manage and dispense charitable assets for the benefit of Portage County citizens. In more than 10 years, The Portage Foundation has awarded more than $124,000 to 40 different programs and has raised more than a quarter of a million dollars.
Robinson Visiting Nurse and Hospice has been providing home health care to individuals and families in our community since 1907.
“We are grateful for the continuing support of The Portage Foundation and members of our community for these vital services to residents of Portage County,” said Deborah Solan, Executive Director of the Robinson Memorial Hospital Foundation.
